Blake became a Personal Lines Underwriter 1.1.2023 with the Burns & Wilcox Personal Lines team in Tampa, Florida.
 
His background begins with graduating from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a double major in Finance and Insurance & Risk Management. Prior to graduating, he completed a summer internship with the GA Burns & Wilcox location. After graduating he was hired by our Tampa location as an Assistant Underwriter.
 
Blake was promoted to Associate Underwriter in 2020. In 2021 he proved his commitment to professional development by earning the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, then completing the Leadership Discovery Program, and securing a 2-20 license. In 2022 he was promoted to a Sr. Associate Underwriter, and also earned the Associate in Reinsurance (ARE) designation.
