Bryant Steele is a Regional Vice President and Managing Director at Burns & Wilcox, where he oversees the company’s Midwest region and is responsible for the collective performance of the Chicago, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee and Minneapolis offices.

With more than 15 years of insurance industry experience, he specializes in Property and Casualty. In his role at Burns & Wilcox, he focuses on maximizing the effectiveness of products and driving his team’s performance and expertise in Property, Casualty, Binding Authority, Professional and Personal Insurance.

Bryant has held various positions in underwriting and business development and operations, most notably at Willis Towers Watson, Aon and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Some of his major career accomplishments involve building growth plans and implementing new lines of business for the company. Dedicated to helping others grow in their careers, he has participated in speaking engagements at the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) Extreme Risk Symposium, WSIA Underwriting Bootcamp, and Lloyd’s Bootcamp (hosted by Lloyd’s of London).

An active WSIA committee member, he previously served on the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Board of Directors. He was also a 2019 Business Insurance Break Out Awards winner and 2019 Insurance Business America Young Guns awardee. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Michigan State University.
