Alan Jay Kaufman to Remain Chairman and CEO as Part of Long-Term Strategic Vision for Company to Remain Privately Held Under Multi-Generational Family Ownership & Operation
Farmington Hills, Mich. (October 24, 2024) – H.W. Kaufman Group, the privately held, industry leading global insurance organization, today announced that Danny Kaufman and Jodie Kaufman Davis are now each Co-President. The newly created positions will establish distinct leadership responsibilities across Kaufman’s broad global portfolio. Alan Jay Kaufman will continue serving as Kaufman’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In addition to his existing role as President of Burns & Wilcox in the U.S., Danny Kaufman has responsibility for the Burns & Wilcox brokerage and Canadian divisions. The existing leadership for both divisions now report into him.
Jodie Kaufman Davis will become Vice Chair, Atain Insurance Companies, while retaining oversight of RB Jones.
She will continue to be responsible for Kaufman’s businesses outside of North America.
