Insurance veteran Hector Collazo joins as Vice President and Managing Director

SAN ANTONIO (August 9, 2017) – Burns & Wilcox, North America’s leading wholesale insurance broker and underwriting manager, announced today the opening of its newest office in San Antonio, Texas, to better serve their expanding client base of insurance retail brokers and agents. The strategic office opening is the fourth location for Burns & Wilcox in the state, outside of the well-established presence in Dallas/Fort Worth, North Dallas and Houston.

Hector Collazo joins as Vice President and Managing Director for Burns & Wilcox San Antonio, along with a growing team of industry veterans, to assist in managing the strategic direction of the office. Collazo has 30 years’ experience in commercial insurance, most recently as Executive Vice President for Myron Steves in San Antonio. Collazo will report to Donald R. Carson, Sr., Executive Vice President, Burns & Wilcox, Dallas/Fort Worth.

The Burns & Wilcox San Antonio office will specialize in Property and Casualty, Professional Liability, Personal Lines and Transportation insurance products and services to retail brokers and agents.
