FARMINGTON HILLS, MICH. (JANUARY 8, 2026) — Burns & Wilcox, a globally recognized leader in wholesale insurance brokerage and distribution, today announced the launch of an exclusive Parametric Flood offering in partnership with Atain Insurance Companies, an “A” rated (Excellent by AM Best) insurance carrier, and Floodbase, the leading AI platform for monitoring and insuring Flood risk.

Designed for non-tier one areas, the new solution can be applied across a variety of sectors, including scheduled Commercial property, Cannabis and Transportation, along with golf courses, amusement parks and municipalities.

“The private insurance industry is proudly at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that meet the demand for navigating flood risk,” said Brad Turner, Burns & Wilcox Vice President & National Product Manager, Flood. “This new product will enable Burns & Wilcox to further extend our leadership position in Flood with a truly breakthrough solution that addresses a clear gap in the marketplace.”

The new Burns & Wilcox product incorporates the Floodbase platform by providing granular flood extent analytics for one or multiple client locations.
