New office signals company’s continued expansion
FARMINGTON HILLS, MICH. (February 13, 2024) — Burns & Wilcox, a globally recognized leader in wholesale insurance brokerage and underwriting, today announced the opening of its new Boston office and the hire of Peter Kestenbaum, who will serve as Managing Director.

Kestenbaum joins Burns & Wilcox with nearly 20 year of industry experience, particularly within the Excess & Surplus space. He will report to Doug Legters, Regional Vice President, Northeast. Legters joined the company in 2023 as part of a targeted effort to drive growth throughout the region.

Previously, Kestenbaum managed a substantial book of business for Vault as its underwriting leader of the Northeast. Kestenbaum’s career also includes roles at notable organizations such as Marsh, Lexington and AIG.
