FARMINGTON HILLS, MICH. (NOVEMBER 11, 2025) — Burns & Wilcox, a globally recognized leader in wholesale insurance brokerage and underwriting, today announced the hiring of new leaders for the company’s offices in Atlanta, Baltimore and Minneapolis:

• Scott Kiser, Managing Director, Atlanta – Kiser oversees the Atlanta office, reporting to Vice President William Briscoe. Kiser joined Burns & Wilcox from Oakbridge Insurance Agency, where he previously served as Senior Vice President with responsibility for more than 100 employees across eight states. During his time at Oakbridge, Kiser was instrumental in driving substantial revenue growth, while establishing a High Net Worth division and also managing insurance carrier relationships.
• Maria Brown, Managing Director, Baltimore – Brown leads Baltimore and reports to Regional Vice President Doug Legters. She joins Burns & Wilcox with more than 25 years of experience, holding a variety of leadership roles at American Family, Global Indemnity and Nationwide. Brown’s expertise spans both Personal and Commercial Lines, along with serving in senior operational roles and overseeing areas such as agency marketing, underwriting, product development, IT, claims and finance.
• Mike Wilman, Associate Managing Director, Minneapolis – Wilman is responsible for the Minneapolis office, reporting to Regional Vice President John Karl. He has spent the past 12 years as a top producer at RPS and Hub International following more than a decade in managerial and senior leadership roles in other industries. Wilman’s insurance expertise includes Commercial binding programs and national brokerage business.
