Caileb Newby is a Professional Lines Broker with Burns & Wilcox Brokerage’s San Francisco office. Having built his career across three of the industry’s leading wholesale brokerage platforms, he brings a unique perspective on the Professional Lines marketplace. Retail brokers rely on Caileb to simplify complex challenges by identifying strategic solutions and developing a clear path forward.

Caileb graduated from Missouri State University with degrees in Insurance & Risk Management and Financial Planning, with a minor in Economics. He began his career in RT Specialty’s Kansas City office, built on the legacy of Westrope, where he developed his technical foundation while also earning his RPLU (Registered Professional Liability Underwriter) and CPLP (Cyber Professional Liability Practitioner) designations. He continued his career at Amwins before joining Burns & Wilcox in 2024.

Beyond Brokerage, Caileb serves as Chair of the PLUS Southwest Chapter, invests in the technical development of his team, closely collaborates with carrier partners to expand specialty capabilities, and supports the broader Professional Lines community through industry conferences, articles, and interviews.
